UkiNor provides people a place and opportunity to leave your legacy. Erin McCormack in this case has decided to share the following details with you.
A three year old girl almost drowned right behind me in the sherwood park pool. Good thing the life guard saw and I was paying attention!
I was free in school.
When I was in grade 7 I read the book How To Win Friends And Influence People by Dale Carnegie
Best advice I ever received. I had many friends but they all belonged to their own clique. I had the opportunity to choose what I wanted to do every weekend according to what all these groups of people were up to. I was never was a part of drama, I loved my high school experience.
I guess I still live my life this way, many different types of friends. I love people and diversity! Grade 7 for me was September 1996- June 1997
My marriage
Live life on purpose, with purpose.
Don't forget to live life while you are young and healthy. Don't strive for money, strive for memories! Having nice stuff is ok, but having experiences will lead you on adventures. Please please please, live your life so you will have no regrets. Trust me, I have lived life to the fullest every single day of my life, and I will continue to do so until my last breath. 12 September 2020
Not many, but the most interesting way was when I was a youth leader for Word Of Faith Edmonton Church.
I was teaching on keeping your cool and controlling your emotions in the heat of the moment. Just as I started getting into the lesson I leaned my weight onto my phone to scoot my butt up on the stage.... CRACK!
I "EEEKed" and everyone fell silent. I then said, "Isn't this a PERFECT example. I just got this new iPhone 6 yesterday and I completely destroyed my screen, I can choose how I react right now." LOL All the teens were impressed, I don't think I would have reacted that way if I wasn't where I was, but it really put into perspective that things happen and sometimes the only thing we can control in a situation is our reactions! Love is not a feeling, it is a choice. Love is an action word. 1 Corinthians 13 really does describe love well. Infatuation is not love. Love is patient. Love is kind. Love does not envy, and it is not proudful. Love is not rude, love is not self-serving, love is not easily angered, love keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, love always trusts, love always hopes, love always preserves.
Love never fails. January 2020
Roman is kind, thoughtful, protective, loving. He is an amazing father and husband. He always chooses to have a good attitude and see the positive in life and the circumstances around him. I absolutely love how after 13 years of marriage he still makes my abs hurt from laughing! Love is a choice, we both believe that. He just makes it super easy for me to love, respect and honour him. <3 -2019-

If my mom (Shannon Sullivan) is with her sister (Maureen Sullivan) I fully expect to get a drunk call sometime around midnight EST... If I know my mom is with friends, I will call her to mess with her from a number she doesn't know. -November 2015-
Helicopter Ride! It's on my bucket list but haven't made it happen yet. Roman and I looked into it in Hawaii, Las Vegas and Sudbury... never got the nerve or the willingness to part with our funds to do it yet.

I remember so many people's numbers! Anyone I have added after the year 2012, I might not know it.
It's very important to know at least 10 people's numbers. This one time I accidentally locked Sheppard in the church (that I was cleaning) at 3 months old. I didn't have my phone or my keys! I ran around the corner to the liquor store and asked to use the phone. I called 5 people before someone was able to give me someone's number (the Pastor) who had a key to the church. Sheppard was crying, I was crying... with a window between us. It only took 15 minutes for them to get there but it felt like an eternity... poor little Sheppie! xoxo

Making my bed. It's a little thing but I always appreciate coming home and getting into a made bed. Also.... a cup or travel mug of black coffee!

So far.... Hong Kong. 2018
Space Grover on a floppy disk...
I never missed a day of high school, I did miss classes... If I would have applied myself, I would have easily have been a straight A student. In university (when I had to pay my own money) I never got a grade under 90%
Durian. Not the taste, the smell.
Agree
All food. I love ethnic food... from everywhere!
Oh gosh.... past them all and I'm loving life every year more and more! Never ever think that your best years are behind you, YOU create your life and you surround yourself with what you want in it. If you're not loving life, get up, get out of your comfort zone, and make a change. Life is too short not to love being you and love doing what you do and who you're doing it with.
Smashing Pumpkins
I love kalettes and brussel sprouts, and salad... I LOVE vegetables.
Marijuana was very illegal and there were definitely groups of teens who smoked it in the woods behind the school Lo-Ellen Park Secondary School. But besides that, I don't think there were illegal organizations at school.

Ella and I went parasailing in Vietnam February 2018... we lived to tell about it.
We eloped 16 December 2006 and got married outside in Canmore beside the old train bridge that crossed the bow river. There were only 5 people at our wedding and not one person we were related to. We got married at 11am so after we took everyone out for brunch at Chez Francois.... Make your main focus to be the marriage, a wedding is one day at the beginning... don't go into debt for it!
I saved Sheppard from a Great Dane when he was 6 years old. He will still probably have scars on his knee.
On January 20 2010 I held a woman as she died in a car accident on airport road. It was very sad.
Everything I make is delicious.
I loved English. I really like writing essays... I guess my mom being an English Professor had something to do with it. I used to hate how she would give me homework when the teachers were on strike or through the summer, but in the long term, it was all worth it.
Plain or salt but they have to be kettle chips! mmmmmm
Agree
Pickleball. I wish I made more time to play it but it really is something both Roman and I enjoy. I guess dancing is another one, we taught married or engaged couples to dance for free. We believe that dancing brings a couple closer together, so learn how to swing, jitterbug and two-step!
Audi the dog. My parents only got him when I was 18 so I didn't live with a pet long. He died in 2018. He had a howl like a beagle, but he was a mutt with other breads in him too.
I'm actually horrible at moving pictures anywhere. I'm glad that they are all saved (the last 2 years at least) with my fhgerin@gmail.com account. (2020)
Jaws
One yell from my brother Scott, "SHARK!" and I would take the gold away from Michael Phelps! Yes, it was in a Sudbury lake but all logic gets thrown out with a thought of being eaten
I only had one "serious" boyfriend before I met and married Roman.
I currently use 6 email addresses regularily and receive between 10 and 20 emails a day.
Drinking Tequila
All chicken... As long as it's organic. Love whole chicken so that I can make a broth for soup out of it!
I love being spontaneous and creating memories for my friends and family, even if they can be a little traumatizing.
I'm always seem to be in a rush, I would like to slow down a bit so that I can enjoy the moments in life.
I got my first cell phone (rebelliously) at 18 years old. I racked up the bill and it went to collections, a hard lesson to learn but I'm glad I learned it young. I've had many phone numbers over the years until around 2011 when you were able to keep the same number when switching providers! One of my old numbers was 780-220-ERIN haha
Do not google health symptoms! No matter what Google will find a way that you're dying.

To make?
My homemade chicken and rice soup mmmm
Definitely the kind that surrounds a piece of candy!
If there are, they are secrets from me too!
2 children died in drownings, my mother's siblings, but that is family knowledge.
I had a wonderful high school "career". I read the book How to win Friends and Influence People in seventh grade and life seemed to be pretty simple using the concepts from that book. I have since listened to that book once every two years. I loved the social parts of school but never did my work, so I was an solid C or even D student.
In university, however, I excelled and haven't recieved a final grade under 90%.
